They are engaged off of a rotating cam and are for fill switch, (holding switch and on/off switch are interchangeable) for these positions. Will work on most electro-mechanical icemakers with metal mold = (where ice is formed at). These type switches are NOT used on module type icemakers. Other unit brands these can be found on include >>> Frigidaire/Flurida, Amana, Whirlpool, Westinghouse, GE, Sears, Hotpoint, and nearly all electro-mechanical icemakers with a metal mold (where ice is formed at). You will receive a SET of 3 switches per order (ALL that is pictured in first 2 pics). LAST 6 pictures represent typical icemaker units that these switches will fit on and are for demonstration purposes only NOTE 1: Switch sets come in a variety of Brands and colors (black, white, red/black, gray, among others) all work the same! ALL switches came off icemaker units and are OEM genuine (NOT generic).NOTE 2: Many units use a two terminal switch in place of the 3 terminal switch and if you get a set that has a two terminal switch it is used for the fill water valve position If unsure of application, please ask first and or send pictures.
