Description: Sepia Colored Henry VIII and 6 Wives Teapot - Looks Like Sadler but Different This Henry VIII and his six wives teapot looks like a Sadler and that is what I thought it was when we purchased it many years ago! But now looking at it – it is different in so many ways! -The colors are not as vibrant as Sadler but are more of a sepia tone. -No gold trim around the spout, handle or top of lid. -There are not the usual markings on the bottom of the piece as you would see with Sadler. I have taken a photo of the marking that can barely be seen and enhance it to see what it looks like. The photo is turned four different ways since I’m not sure which is the correct direction. The piece features images of Henry himself, Catherine of Aragon, Anne Boleyn, Jane Seymour on the sides of the teapot with Catherine Howard and Catherine Parr on the teapot lid. Approximately 6.25"H x 4.25"W X 7.5" from tip of spout to outer part of handle I think this was made in England since that is where we purchased it, but I am not sure. Displayed in private home with no chips, scratches or cracks that I can see or feel - great condition. Usual scuffing on bottom from shelf wear. A rough spot above Catherine Parr is a tiny bubble (shown in photo). NO original box. Comes from a clean, non-smoking home.
