Description: Up for auction is a rare professional Selmer Paris Mark VI tenor saxophone. There are no major body or neck dents present, several minor dents can be removed during servicing and the neck doesn't have any signs of pull down. The pads and corks are in poor condition and need to be replaced soon for this to be playable. This tenor saxophone would benefit from a cleaning, new pads and corks or overhauled for optimal performance. Most of the lacquer on the body, keys and neck is missing and the bell/bow engraving is detailed and there are minor scratches throughout from normal use. The body serial number is in the upper 82,xxx range which dates the year of manufacture to approximately 1959 and considered to be in the "Brecker Era" and there is no serial number on the neck. Included is a used non-original Selmer wood shell tenor saxophone case with a flute case holder built into the case lid and an accessory storage compartment(latches function as intended, interior is intact with minor odor and wear, exterior has minor wear throughout and edge guard stitching is somewhat loose, handles are intact, no latch key is included).
