The shaft is a stage IV and has been refurbished, the micarta ferrule is light in color and has recent tip on it see pictures. There is one small indention measuring Les than a mm on one point and two small intentions on base of but very small. Very well balanced and solid hitting cue. Own a piece of history today. Update 7/20/24 today just received the what I think is the original shaft that came with it. ferrule looks different and it’s 12.5 mm and has been tapered and has slight taperer roll. the stage iv shaft is 12.75mm has no taper roll rolls perfect. The shaft that they sent me will come with purchase of the pool cue at no extra charge.
