I have knitted this yarn and pleased with the stitch definition and subtle gloss. Am really happy with my socks. They are cool and absorbent. The specifications of the ball band don't make sense, and I could not find the needed info on their web site.The true gauge of this sock yarn is in the range of 7 st per inch with #2 needle. (Something else appears on the ball band & I am ignoring it.
