IVORY LAMBERTON (Symbol) SCAMMELL. As per Larryrpaul.com, this IVORY mark was probably used when the Ivory body was introduced in 1928. It was also used on a Savoy-Plaza plate dated 1936. Hunter Research Inc., 2003 : “The Lamberton Works was bought from the Maddock family bythevScammell brothers in 1923. In 1955, the factory ceased production, the firms patents sold to the Sterling China Company and the Scammell Company dissolved.” No cracks, chips or crazing.
