It is clean aside from minor ink splashes from past projects, the worst of which are concentrated near the display panel on the outer shell. You are purchasing the printer and its power supply only; spare ink and CreativeStudio software are not included. You will also receive 16 sublijet hd cleaning cartridges designed for use with the VJ-628. I highly recommend arranging local pickup for this printer, but if you desire shipping, it will be insured and professionally packaged by UPS.
