Description: A honey dish made by Arie Ofir Seven species motif. Each frond represents on of the seven species. Blue glass bowl. Arie said he made this and it was sold by the Israel Museum in their store. Arie was born in 1939 and apprenticed with Georg Jensen in Copenhagen. He returned to Israel and taught at the Bezalel Academy of Arts from 1968 - 1984 including twelve years as a department chair in goldsmithing and silversmithing. His works are in the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, in the Jewish Museum in NY and in the Israel Museum in Jerusalem. New, old stock.
