Description: This wild rooster pheasant skin was harvested by me, along with the help of my English Setter Jack, during the ‘23/‘24 pheasant Iowa pheasant season. I am a licensed hunter from Iowa, and I can legally sell the skins/feathers of our harvest. The Ringneck Pheasant is legal for us to hunt and is not a protected species in any way. Not CITES protected. I don’t typically skin out a full bird and leave the tail feathers on, but I did with this one for someone to display on their wall, or for a fly tier to have a fully intact specimen. Both wings are included, along with the tail feathers, and beak. This is a wild bird harvested in Iowa, and because of this, not all feathers may be included and may have small holes in skin. Beak and wings dried in this position. I removed the humerus wing bones. Please look at the pictures included. You will get the skin in the pictures.
