Last week the cal 1560 genuine Rolex movement with sweeping seconds hand was thoroughly inspected, it is running as it should. Recently the watch case, case back, crystal, and bezel were professionally polished and satin refinished leaving the watch looking great. The case measures 34 mm wide excluding the crown (it's an average sized mens watch for the time period, midsized by todays standards, and looks great on ladies too). The winding crown is its original genuine Rolex twin lock screw down crown which screws down nice and tight. The coin edges on the case back show no slipped tool marks. The band is a non-Rolex made $70 Montbrillant Peasux brand lizard grain black colored replacement with unsigned buckle. The dial has never been refinished. It has heavy and even age patina with some age spots. This watch has a distinctive, clean vintage look. The pictures have been taken from every angle and represent the watch well, in fact they are 3x magnified, the dial is beautiful, and the watch is polished to a perfect shine.
