Description: 4 cuttings of 5 inches each. This species is one from Barra do Sul on the coast of Santa Catarina state in far southern Brazil. Originally found growing in the seaside restinga vegetation. It appears to be very hardy to drought and sunny locations. The flowers can be white to cream color and the fruit was pinkish. Although not verified as a particular species, as a regional specimen it is a nice addition to a collection. C.I.T.E.S Listed export from USA prohibited.
