It has been completely restored. The brass was polished, the steel chain was refinished, and new cloth covered wiring was added. The shade holder has patent dates of 1890 and 1896. The shade is in good antique condition with some chips around the fitter that are not easily seen once in place. The shade fluoresces well under a blacklight. All the hardware for standard installation is included, so they will arrive ready to install. The drop, or the distance the fixtures hang down, is 25 inches, and the width is 8.5 inches. The shade is around 8.5 inches in diameter. I can adjust the drop. Removing chain is free, while adding chain may add to the cost. Contact me with your desired drop prior to purchase, and I will let you know the cost of alteration. The light bulb used is for display purposes, and is not included. You can use any standard size bulb, and dim the bulbs, and use LEDs. The maximum wattage is 80 watts per bulb. Quality light fixtures are one of the best additions you can make to your home!
