Comprised of: 2 generators, one for each headlight & taillight, as well as an optional attachment for mounting either the front or rear lamps on a rack. ReeLight keeps things straight forwards and user friendly. Showing this, not only in their design that allows the Nova to be easily installed in minutes with the included key and standard tools any cyclists may have laying around. But also with easily available replacement pieces for cheap and peace of mind with the Nova's system wide IP67 waterproof rating. Meaning that, it is completely protected from dust and has been tested for to work for at least 30 minutes while submerged under 15cm to 1m of water. This being said, let's look at the individual pieces of the system. Nova Dynamo Description: The generator itself like all parts of the Nova system is sleek, innovative, and elegantly designed. Created out of ReeLight's Glass Fiber Enforced Nylon Plastic and weighting in at just 84 grams per unit, the Nova Dynamo isn't just extremely durable—its lightweight too. ReeLight carries this durability to its mount as well, with the Nova Dynamo being easily installable using their signature wrap around steel cable and specialty tightening key (included) designed to reduce theft. This award winning design takes just moments to mount before you will be ready to ride. However, you will need 1 Dynamo per light on your cycle for a total of 2 ReeLight Dynamos for each system. This purchase will come with both dynamos! PLEASE NOTE: This generator will not work for everyone as it is ONLY CAPABLE WITH STANDARD ALUMINUM RIMS. To find if your wheels are capable, you can easily check with a magnet by following ReeLight's capability guide on their website. Though, this is not the Nova's only restriction however—the Nova will also NOT WORK on: Suspension, Mountain Bike, or Fat Tire cycles. ReeLight states that the distance between the Rim & Fork can be no wider than 25mm for proper operation. Headlights: Made from the same Glass Fiber Reinforced Nylon composite that the other Nova pieces are created from. The Nova headlight comes in two mounting varieties, one for the Front Head Tube and one for a Front Basket or Luggage Carrier. The difference between these two models is that the Basket mount has one extra reflector and requires a mounting bracket that will come free of charge with the basket mount front headlight, the Tube mount has its own bracket built in! Lights are sold with the cable included, Basket mount comes with a 65cm cable and the Head Tube light comes with a 30cm cable. Each taillight includes a wire with its purchase, the Seat Post Mount includes a 40cm cable and the Luggage Rack Mount includes a 75cm wire.
