This base is taller (thicker) and long to position the front ring an 1" forward and the rear ring 1/2" forward to clear the dog-legged bolt handle on a 600. Otherwise, the 22 mm front hole pair and the 93 mm rear/front to a single rear is identical to the regular 700SA, 40X, XP-100 Fireball bolt action pistol, model 7 and even the most recent cross-listed CZ 600. The Junior High rings are the proper height for the 3X-9X class scopes with up to 50 mm objectives. Gloss blue finish matches the same on like-vintage rifle and scopes finishes like original Leupold, Burris, Redfield, Zeiss, Bushnell, Lyman, Weaver and so on.
