Description: Realistic Automotive Stereo Cassette Tape Player with Automatic Reverse, in the original box. Cat no. 12-1813 A Tandy Corporation Company. Lisiting this as new open box, new old stock. Could find no evidence that it was ever used. Cosmetically in great condition. The white stuff on the wiring at the back is where it had embedded itself in the packaging over time. The other wiring and mounting hardware are still in the parts bag. The mounting bracket and rear metal strap are with it. It is in the original box. For its age, the box isn't terrible, but it does have two good sized rips in the front portion of the box, as shown in the pictures. There is overall wear and some other small damaged areas on the box, but still, boxes usually didn't survive. I bought this year's ago thinking one day I would get a vintage car and put a cassete player in it. Those days have passed me buy, so time to pass it on. To be transparent, obviously the player has not been tested. Looking inside where the tape goes looks very nice, but I can't see the condition of the belt(s). A nice vintage under dash cassette player. Thanks for looking.
