Very clear grains on all of the bowl surface on this big (bowl close to Dunhill's Group 6 in size) pipe. Shape 1662 was launched in 1971 as can be seen in the old Butz-Choquin catalogue and was a MODELE DEPOSE. A rare new-old-stock pipe. Bonus an unused contemporary Butz-Choquin pouch.
