Description: 1907 Original Detroit Publishing Company postcard of "Salmon" (named by Schmucker on back of original painting but is listed as "Trout and Girl" by some Schmucker authorities). The Fantasy Mermaid series is the only set of Schmucker postcards published by the Detroit Publishing Company that does not have names or stanzas printed on the front of the cards. This is one of six cards in "The Mermaid's Lovers" Series. New Orleans Fine Books and Autographs will be offering the other cards in this set in the next few days. The card is in Very Good condition. The arcs shown in the close-up photo exist on the bottom of both corners.
