Description: RARE * L’Origan by Coty 3 fl oz Briar Crystal Flacon Hand Cut Paris Vintage. This is an estate find, believed from the 1920s. It is sealed. It appears some of the fragrance has evaporated over the past 100 or so years! I reached out to Coty in an attempt to learn more. L’Origan is no longer made. The company representative was unable to confirm the year of this bottle. She said this particular bottle is the "Briar Stopper Flacon" bottle. The frosted glass stopper is molded with the "briar" motif. These exquisite crystal flacons were hand cut in the Paris ateliers of Coty. It appears that the bottle contains 3 oz. According to https://cotyperfumes.blogspot.com, Rene Lalique designed this flacon in 1911, and it was later made by Coty's own glassworks after 1920.
