Description: You are purchasing a rare AWA "Empire State" Fisk Radiolette brown Bakelite radio. This art deco radio was made in Australia during the 1930's. The photos capture some of the exceptional cabinet design. The chocolate brown bakelite finish is rich and smooth.The radio is free of any cracks, chips, or repairs. This radio model is featured in the Radio Days book on Australian Bakelite Radiosby Peter Sheridan. The radio is being sold from my personal radio collection. I do not run radios in my collection. This radio is being sold as and have not be tested. The chassis appears to be complete. The radio also has the back section which is matching brown bakelite. The radio is heavy and I would ship the chassis separate from the cabinet.
