This is a very RARE PIN, based on its age (1939-1963) and in addition in 1963 the name was changed to OLIVE HOUSE and the logo was changed. Our Ark was opened in London in 1939 intended for use as a hostel. The logo pin was an Ark floating in water, which is a symbol of refuge. Our Ark housed many displaced persons during WWII. In 1963, the center was moved and renamed Olave House in honor of Lady Olave Baden-Powell. In 1984, a new facility was built in Hampstead, outside of London, and the name was changed again to Pax Lodge as it stands today. Free shipping in the USA.
