RARE 1932 LOS ANGELES STERLING SILVER SUMMER OLYMPICS OLYMPIAD RING SZ 9

Description: ITEM DESCRIPTION:Up for sale is a RARE ring from the summer 1932 Los Angeles olympics. From my research, I’ve found that these were awarded to the olympiads participating in the tournament. They are quite scarce with many selling for several hundred at major auction houses. The ring is a size 9 and is just under 7/8” wide at the front shield design. It has a discus thrower at front with Los Angeles TXM Olympiad above. The ring has been lovingly worn and shows surface wear on the outer and inner band. It has a line at the reverse shank where it has been sized ages ago, but it is soldered closed. It is hallmarked “Sterling” on the reverse shield and weighs 10 grams. SHIPPING:Due to the current global situation, I will only be shipping once a week. As restrictions continue, I may only be able to drop packages off and not have them physically scanned into the postal system. My post office is understaffed and sometimes they fail to scan packages although they have them in their possession. All items are shipped with a tracking number and all require insurance. Items are shipped in a very TIMELY fashion and tracking information is provided once the label is created. Please refrain from asking for tracking information or for photos of the wrapping process as all of these requests delay the progress in shipping your item and others.
