Description: Rare 1910-1917 Elizabeth Manspeaker Kenley Signed Arts & Crafts Pitcher. 6 1/4" tall x 7" in width including handle. Excellent condition with no chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs.Provenance includes following hand-written note: "This pitcher was hand painted by my Great Aunt "E" (Elizabeth Manspeaker Kenley). It was probably done sometime between 1910 and 1917. Notice she signed it EM (her maiden name initials). She was born in 1887 and lived in Kansas. She came to Colorado one summer and learned to paint China in Evergreen or Morrison from a noted China painter of the day. This was given to me after she died in 1944 along with her cedar chest, diamond ring, button bag and her doll that I named Elizabeth. This should stay in the family if anyone wants it." This is an outstanding example of early Arts & Crafts. PRICE JUST REDUCED FROM $150 TO $99. Buyer to pay $20 for careful packing and shipping.
