This cartridge works in conjunction with your existing air dryer to ensure clean and dry air reaches your truck’s air brake system. Efficient Functioning: This air dryer cartridge by Mytee Products comes with a highly efficient oil coalescing component that removes around 99.9% of oil and other harmful contaminants like dirt, water, etc. before they enter the air system to ensure high performance for your truck’s air braking system. Long Lasting: Our air dryer cartridge purifies the air and sends clean and dry air that reduces the wear and tear on your air system components, thus extending the lifespan of your truck’s air braking system. Versatility: Mytee Products’ oil coalescing filter is designed according to the SAE compliance standards and is the perfect replacement unit, ensuring compatibility with most of the truck’s air dryer systems. Installation & Maintenance Guide Installation: Initially you have to remove the old air dryer housing from your truck and then remove the old desiccant cartridge and dispose of it according to local regulations. Once you have removed the old cartridge, take the Mytee Products’ Air Dryer Cartridge with seal ring kit for installation. Now use the included seal ring kit to ensure proper sealing and fitment during installation. Now you can install the new cartridge into the existing housing ensuring the cartridge is properly fitted. After the cartridge is successfully fitted in the housing you can now re-attach the housing to its original place and tighten it securely. Maintenance This desiccant air dryer cartridge within the air dryer is responsible for removing moisture from the air. You must regularly keep on inspecting the air dryer system to check for any signs of reduced performance. This includes checking for: Increased stopping distances Sponginess in the brake pedal Corrosion in air lines For further instance simply consult your truck's service manual for the recommended service schedule for the air dryer system. This may involve draining any accumulated moisture from the air dryer system at specific intervals. The replacement also depends on your truck's operating conditions and usage, the desiccant cartridge should be replaced periodically. We provide a warranty to all new products only if the parts have defective material or workmanship (must be used in appropriate applications). The warranty doesn’t cover the parts that fail or get damaged due to misuse, misapplication, or accident. Unless specified otherwise, buyers/consumers need permission from your salesperson to initiate a return under warranty. We will replace any part free of charge only if our team finds a defect after a thorough examination. The warranty only covers only the replacement of defective parts (under the mentioned conditions), we disclaim liability for labor and/or special or consequential damages of any nature.
