Description: This 1986 UK stereo LP from Chandos (ABRD 1183) features several works by Sergei Prokofiev: Romeo and Juliet: Suite No. 2, Op. 64; Dreams, Op. 6: Symphonic Poem; and several works collectively entitled Pushkiniana: Two Pushkin Waltzes, Op. 120; Evgeny Onyegin, Op. 71; and Boris Godunov, Op. 70. They are performed by the Scottish National Orchestra, led by Edwin Paling and conducted by Neeme Järvi. The outer sleeve shows a small collection index sticker in the upper right corner of the back (Photo 2). Also present in the lower part of the back is the small, inkless stamp of "PRS Hannover," the company that pressed the album. This is one of many titles from an extensive collection of classical LPs and CDs that we will be listing here. All have been carefully stored for many years, played only on premium equipment, and show little to no wear.
