This listing is for a distribution service listing which involves you mailing your copy of Pokemon Platinum to me, where I will then distribute the Secret Key to your game save, which you can then use to access the secret Rotom room in Eterna City’s Team Galactic building, where you then transform Rotom into one of its various forms (assuming you have one in your party). This distribution service is not compatible with Pokemon Diamond, Pearl, HeartGold or SoulSilver, as the Rotom forms (along with the Secret Key and its respective secret room) had not yet been added to the series since they were first added in Platinum, and HeartGold and SoulSilver can actually transform Rotom with their own special room to transform Rotom which does not require a special event item. With that said, it will revert back to its normal form if you attempt to trade it while still transformed. In Pokemon Platinum, various new additions were made to make this updated release of Diamond and Pearl much more interesting. A large part of this was giving some special Pokemon new forms, such as Giratina and Shaymin - though one Pokemon benefitted very strongly from this; Rotom. Using a new event item added exclusively to Pokemon Platinum, the Secret Key, players could bring their Rotoms to the Team Galactic Building in Eterna City and unlock a hidden door and take you to a room simply known as Rotom’s Room. In this secret location, various electrical appliances can be found which can transform Rotom into a different form, greatly boosting its stats and unlocking exclusive type-related moves for the respective appliances Unfortunately though, despite how unique these forms were, they were locked behind an event that only ran for roughly two weeks, and once the event date passed, the Secret Key could no longer be downloaded or accessed nor was ever distributed online or in-person again. While these transformations can still be accessed in HeartGold and SoulSilver, transformed Rotoms will revert back to their normal form when being traded, and thus they are still inaccessible in Platinum. With this distribution service, I can distribute the Secret Key and its associated Wonder Card onto your Pokemon Platinum game save(s) and allow you to reach the event room once more. This distribution results in you receiving the 100% authentic and genuine Secret Key Wonder Card. The Secret Key distributed in this service results in the original event Wonder Card being on your game - it is 100% authentic and legitimate, and any Rotoms transformed via this are also completely legal and can be transferred to Pokemon Bank and Home. Detailed Information:If you have not reached Jubilife City and have not unlocked Mystery Gift, you will be unable to participate in this distribution service. For those who have reached Jubilife City (which you likely have since you go there even before the first gym badge) and do not have Mystery Gift unlocked, you can unlock it like so: On the 3rd Floor of the Jubilife TV Station, you will find this couple. Talk to the guy, and when he asks you to input a greeting, put “EVERYONE HAPPY” as the first two words, followed by “WI-FI CONNECTION” as the next two. If you did everything correctly, you should now have the Mystery Gift option in the main menu. Assuming you have Mystery Gift unlocked, I will distribute the Secret Key event item and its Wonder Card onto your save once it arrives. Please be aware that if there isn’t enough space in your Wonder Card inventory that I will have to delete one to make space for the Secret Key Wonder Card, and more importantly, so that I can send you the Secret Key. All you need to do after it has been distributed is to visit any PokeMart and talk to the man in green who stands in front of the counter. You will then be given your new Secret Key event item! In order to activate/use the Secret Key, you will need to have reached Eterna City, where after successfully clearing out the city’s Galactic Building, you can unlock the special room by going all the way to the left-most side of the first floor and interact with the wall at the top left corner. Upon doing so, you will get a pop-up telling you that the Secret Key has been used, where a new large door will appear. Inside of the room lie five different appliances, all of which relate to a different Rotom form. Interact with one while Rotom is in your party, and you will be able to transform them! If you wish to transform the Rotom back or choose a different form, interact with the appliance that corresponds to the form Rotom is already in, or simply interact with the appliance that relates to the new form you want them to take. Please be aware that Rotom’s alternate forms do not exist in Pokemon Diamond and Pearl, as the forms were first introduced in Pokemon Platinum. Additionally, please be aware that the Rotom forms’ types do not change, as that was an addition made in Generation 5; Rotom regardless of the appliance used will always be a dual Electric and Ghost type. Please do not bank on the small chance of this happening. “Is this service done via cheating (GameShark, Action Replay, etc)?”Typically, none of my services involve cheating in any way and are all done to be as authentically as possible. If purchasing multiple services from me and shipping does not automatically combine, which it seems to not do if buying overseas, please let me know so I can refund you the $25 back. “Do these services work on non-English cartridges?”Yes, a vast majority of my services will work on non-english cartridges. Naturally some of them require a bit of a different process, such as if you want the Oak’s Letter distribution service performed on a Japanese copy of Platinum, I would instead distribute the authentic Japanese Wonder Card instead of the English one since it wouldn’t work properly, but the end result would still be the same ans result in you receiving an authentic Oak’s Letter. “Do I have to send in my system along with the game?”In regards to cartridges being played on GameBoy, GameBoy Color, GameBoy Advance, Nintendo DS, and Nintendo 3DS, no - those cartridges’ save files are stored within the cartridges themselves, rather than something like the Nintendo Switch save files, which are stored on the system itself regardless of if playing a game physically or digitally. For non-cartridge/digital games however, most of which in this case refer to the 3DS (eShop, Virtual Console), then yes, you would need to send in your entire system. “Is there any way we can communicate outside of eBay messaging?”Yes - you are free to send me a friend request and message me on Discord via my ID of Mvw#0426 - this is very likely the best way to message me, as I’m very active on there (though before friending me, please send a message on eBay letting me know of you sending a friend request so I know who sent it and whether or not to accept said friend request or not.). For the record, I do want to say that the account used is still my personal Discord - I don’t have a separate business account or anything, so do with that as you will. “Can you transfer this Pokemon up to a different generation and trade/transfer it from there?”All events shown are technically compatible with all future generations unless they’re a Ticket/Item distribution service like the Eon Ticket or are specifically mentioned to not transfer up (to Bank and Home), so if you want a Generation 3 WishMaker Jirachi in Pokemon Black 2 for example, let me know and we can discuss this. I’m aware that many will want me to transfer these up into Bank and Home for trading purposes, and yes, I can go ahead and do that too if you so wish. With that said, please be aware it may take a bit of time to transfer everything upwards. “Do you plan to offer services for other Pokemon games (XY, SM, USUM, LGPE, SWSH, BDSP, PLA, SV, Home, etc)?”I definitely have plans for services for other Pokemon titles in the future, though I don’t have much more concrete information to give at present time. Making these services is a lot more work on my end than it may seem, since I have to write up the description (which as I’m sure you can tell, I always make as thorough and detailed as possible), make the thumbnail, take the best pictures possible, update previous descriptions to include the new listing as a service I offer, update the Q&A if required, and so on. Do the listings end once the quantity reaches zero? Should I purchase now to avoid missing out? Don’t worry - I plan to go ahead and keep these services going for as long as I can, though there will likely be times in the future where I temporarily stop working on them for a bit, likely due to school or vacations and such. Outside of that, no, I do not plan to stop my services anytime soon. Additionally, I always increase the quantity of each service when it gets low, so you will always be able to purchase in the future. With that all said, I advise you to please not purchase unless you feel you are ready to mail your game out, as admittedly due to the way eBay is set up, they do expect me to purchase a shipping label for use within the coming days after a purchase is made, so to avoid that, it is best to wait until you feel ready to proceed with the service. “Why are your shipping times so long? Do I really have to wait that long to receive my game back?”Don’t worry - the shipping times and estimated delivery dates shown are not correct whatsoever. The estimated shipping and delivery times only show as such a long time purely so I can give the customer as long of a time period as I possibly can to mail their game out. As mentioned in the previous question’s response, eBay expects me to purchase and prepare a shipping label after a certain period of time, so I have the maximum shipping time set to give as much time as possible for the customer to get their package ready and the like. Keep in mind that I naturally only want to purchase a shipping label when I’m ready to actually ship, so purchasing one and then having it expire is definitely not something I’d like to have happen. “How do I know this service is legit? How do I know you will mail my game back?”Easily my most commonly asked question, and one I naturally fully understand. Sending your game to someone you don’t know can be very intimidating and concerning, so I hope the reasons I give share can be understood and go beyond “that’s morally wrong!” To start, please keep in mind that in order for me to actually receive your game, I have to send you my address, so if I ever were to not send your game back, you now have my address, proof of a valid purchase, a listing linked to said purchase, and an account you can report to eBay. I also can give out my full name when giving my address if anyone needs it for their package, so you would have even more information on me as an individual you could report if need be. I hope that these reasons give you a good idea of why such wouldn't be feasible on my end, and ultimately an incredibly poor idea.
