Description: E R Squibb Promo Item Pharmacist Ashtray Display Large at approximately 11 inches tall and 8.75 inches wide at the base This was given to pharmacists and physicians as a promotion item in the 1960s by the drug company Squibb. Interesting that an ashtray was used for a "health" related profession Condition Description: Overall clean and displays well. The base appears to be a porcelain coated metal while the pharmacist figure appears to be made of chalkware or a similar material. The pharmacist is removable from the ashtray base via a screw on the back. It will be shipped dissembled. The paint is overall complete with some of the blue paint on the pants chipped away along the bottom of the coat line (refer to close up pictures). Has the copy right and maker information on the reverse of the base. Made in Japan. Stored in a climate controlled, smoke free environment. Refer to the multiple pictures.
