The KM and the K1000 share the same internal mechanics and functions but the K1000 lacks the preview and timer function. You are getting a much better camera than the K1000. Mechanically, they all work the same so the difference is purely cosmetic. If you care a lot about the item condition, we suggest you look at only ones in VERY GOOD condition.
