Description: This pedal unit came from a 73 note Square Grand Piano, which was made in 1845. This is nearly as rare as they get. Made from solid rosewood, all the parts are there, including the support brace. This is easily adaptable to a number of brands of square pianos from this time period. This piano had no iron frame and the planking they used for the bottom suffered the 'crack of doom.' If you have a square with no frame and there is a crack in the bottom, let the tension down easily and say good-bye to the piano.
