Description: Paragon A166 Pink Rose Floral Gold Encrusted Scrollwork & Cobalt Tea Cup & Saucer Nice vintage bone china tea cup and saucer. The cup is decorated with a thin gold band around the center on the outside. Gold gilding around the bottom of the foot rim. The inside of the cup and the saucer are decorated with a pink rose, purple, red, and white flowers framed by a gold encrusted band below a deep cobalt blue band with gold floral scrollwork overlay. Gold gilding along the edge. Marked on the bottom Paragon By Appointment to HM The Queen & HM Queen Mary Fine Bone China England Regd. A similar mark was used between 1939 and 1949. Has some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition. The cup measures approximately 5 inches wide including the handle x 2 3/8 inches tall. The saucer measures approximately 5 1/2 inches wide.
