Description: Pair of Klingenberg Limoges Hand Painted Floral & Raised Gold Scrollwork Dessert Bowls Pair of antique French porcelain bowls with relief molded scrollwork edge with clouded / sponged gold gilding. Each bowl is decorated with small hand painted puce and white flowers with gold highlights and leaves and raised gold scrolwlork. One of the bowls has an ivory and pink background and the other bowl has an ivory and blue background. Marked on the reverse in green Limoges France with an arrow. This is an underglaze whiteware manufacturer's mark used by Laviolette in Limoges France between 1896 and 1905. Also marked in red A&D Limoges France. Also marked in a red circle Limoges AK CD France. This is an overglaze decorating mark used by Klingenberg & Dwenger in Limoges France between 1900 and 1910. These have some wear to the gilding. The blue bowl has a discolored tight crack extending off the edge. The pink bowl has a few small chips to the edge. Otherwise good condition. Each bowl measures approximately 5 3/4 inches wide x 1 1/4 inches tall. These are antiques and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.
