Description: I bought this Oromo Ethiopian tribal silver hinged bracelet in Merkato Market in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia in January, 2012. I purchased it from an antiquities dealer in an open outdoor booth. It measures 3" long with an inside diameter of 2" x 2.2". When the bracelet is opened, the opening is 1.4". I've left it in original condition but assuming it would polish well. Great patina. This is much more than a silver bracelet, it is tribal and would have been worn with pride by an Oromo woman. Typically the silver is from melted coins and then mixed with other metal. No International Shipping. Thanks.
