Description: You have a chance to get this great historical military set in your collection. This set includes 1. WWII US Machete. This machete is used but in good condition. Full size 23 inches. Blade size 17 3/4 inches. Blade is in great condition. One side of blade has a mark "U.S. TRUE TEMPER-1945-." Handles on machete are not original. The handles are made from wood and have 3 screws (see picture). 2. Next part of set is original scabbard. On picture you can see that scabbard was repaired 2 times. And also has a small tear (see picture). 3. And last piece of set is belt that is attached with special wires to scabbard. Belt is in good condition, and its lock opens and closes (see picture). My conclusion this military set did not somewhere in storage, but participated in real WWII battles. Most likely has helped its owner. Therefore the owner did not get new one, but repaired handles and scabbard. That way we not only have military equipment but a part of history as well.
