Illustrated by Alcide Robaudi in 1916, it calls for the people of France to support the war effort. This is an original piece. The poster shows the seated figure of Marianne, draped in the Tricolors, receiving the people of France as they lay money at her feet. In very good condition, with fresh colors and no visible damage. We have not taken it out of the frame, but everything but the edges are visible. Some minor rippling, which indicates that it has not been dry-mounted. Can be shipped framed, or carefully rolled into a tube. Appx. 29.5" x 45". Image size is 27" x 43". Signed "A. Robardi".
