Description: Original WW2 British Womens Officers ATS QAIMNS Tropical Desert Jacket This sale is for a desert Jacket as used by a female officer who served in a unit such as the QAIMNS (Queen Alexandria's Imperial Military Nursing Service) or ATS (Auxillery Territorial Service) in the North African or Mediterranean campaign during Second World War. The jacket has been tailoried for a female officer with a small waist and more space in the chest to accomodate a womans bust. The jacket is in overall good original clean condition and made from natural fibres. The jacket features British Army issue plastic buttons and the epaulettes have slip on insignia featuring two officer rank pips.
