Description: Bc Hamlyn's Magic 'Leilani' (C. Jalapa x B. nodosa)Double Spike This is a brightly colored nodosa hybrid clone with a great growth habit. Plants have short pseudobulbs topped by rather narrow leaves of heavy substance. Flowers are large and star shaped and very easy to bloom. Bloom is reliable several times per year on a well grown plant and each mature bulb will spike with several blooms. Blooms last about 6-8 weeks. The plant for sale here is in a 4 inch pot. It is in double spike at the time of listing. Photos taken on 9/20. I will not update the condition of the spikes, However, I am happy to answer any questions you may have as to their progress. Due to conditions beyond my control, we cannot guarantee spikes or blooms.A note about fragrance: fragrance is strongest when the plant 'thinks' it has the most chance of attracting a pollinator. If I mention fragrance, I am saying that the plant is capable of fragrance, and is fragrant in our greenhouses. We accept returns on unaltered plants.
