Description: This is an original 1945 hardcover printing of the medical textbook "Operations of General Surgery," written by Thomas G. Orr and published by W. B. Saunders Company. The topics discussed can be seen on the contents pages in my 9th & 10th photos. The copy being offered is in fair vintage condition overall and makes a fine reading copy. As you'll see in my first five photos, the covers have a few stains & scrapes and noticeable wear, particularly in the corners, where some fraying occurs. Inside, there is writing inside the front cover (shown in my 6th photo), and the pages are largely clean, crisp, and rather strongly bound; I found no other marking or writing while flipping through the book (if any exists, it certainly isn't much), but a lot of pages have light wrinkling in their upper corners.
