Description: One vintage 1977 STAR WARS theatrical 7 1/2" x 10" advertising flyer (warehouse find). Perfect condition. Blank on the back. These were from the Washington, DC area but I expect all theaters had them at the time to promote the movie at their theater. The box at the bottom of the flyer would usually contain a rubber stamp announcing the name of the theater showing the film. In spite of their pristine condition, these are not modern reprints. The person I got them from was one of the people who went around to comic book and science fiction conventions in 1977 promoting the film and he lived in the Washington, DC area. His name is John Ellis and he states: “Promotional flier given to me (John Ellis) by the Assistant Manager of Washington DC’s 'The Uptown Theater' (movie palace) on opening day of Star Wars, May 22, 1977" I've searched on Ebay and I cannot find anyone who has any version of this vintage advertisement. Buyer pays for priority mail, or media mail (mailed in a box). Outside the US use the Ebay global Shipping Program.
