OLDS SPECIAL TROMBONE 1949 US ISSUE SILVER A BEAUTE FAST SLIDE RARE

Description: This beauty looks much nicer in hand than the pictures. It is hard to photograph because it is so shiny and catches many reflections, but, I received this trombone in a deal with a an old Conn which I will be listing later. Both of these trombones were very tarnished. I took my time and hand polished them using Hagerty’s silver polish. This is a United States issued trombone, and as far as I know, they almost always requested any of their U.s. trumpets Cornet or trombones or to all be silver plated most likely for durability. Unfortunately, many of these get played to death and will require a lot of restoration. This one is the opposite. It is in absolutely gorgeous shape. The bell literally has almost no dings and only the tuning side has some minor ripples that could be smooth out by a good tech tuning slide moves smoothly and polished, and the slide works very quickly with no catches, and the slide stockings are not worn through but in great shape. The inside of the bell looks like it is missing a little bit of the silver plate, but it’s very hard to tell most likely from setting on a stand such as the one you’ll see, but it is not dented. Still looks wonderful. you have to look very close to see that and it’s on the inside of the bell . This is the only place that it has really worn at all. One of the prettiest trombones I have seen in a long time and somebody is going to be lucky to have it. It will ship in Old. Ambassador case we’re only one of the latches work. This can also be fixed by any repair shop. No mouse will be included unless you absolutely need one and I could throw a Conn 6 1/2A . You’re beautiful trombone will arrive without damage as I pet professionally as you can see by my feedback don’t miss out on this. I think it I have it priced very fairly. I see one other shop in the United States. Has one listed for $1200 and it’s not any nicer than this one international shipping will be through eBay international shipping program which I have no control over the prices or any of the import fees, but they seem to do it efficiently and fairly, my shipping price for the 48 states.
