Old Primitive Ethnic Pottery 3 1/2" Pot

Description: I don't know where this came from (I mean, beyond a box in my garage) but I suspect it is Central American. 3 1/2" tall and fairly heavy, it's textured at the top, and ringed with little petal-like ornaments shaped by someone's fingers. There is an interruption in the ring at one point, likely a design or symbolic element, but its significance is a mystery to me. Lightly glazed inside, outside, and o the base. Unsigned. Very good, maybe a little better, condition. There are a number of little dings in the surface, the largest one visible at the 10:00 position in the fourth picture. The surface is brittle and would be easily nicked.*Feel free to ignore any Item Specific that seems especially silly, irrelevant, inappropriate, or redundant. eBay frequently adds things without consulting the seller, and which I don’t always catch. There are only 2 things we need to know: 1) Rates went up again in January and 2) First Class and Retail Ground (now called Ground Advantage) now include insurance up to $100.00. Like Priority, Ground Advantage postage varies with distance. I ship from Arizona. Because of the new rates, and because it now includes insurance, I am going to use Ground Advantage for everything. Sometimes it’s a little slower, but the bottom line is it’s cheaper, sometimes considerably. I will contact the winner when I ship the item, to let you know it’s on the way.
