Description: Old Paris Hand Painted Sepia Landscape Scene & Gold Teapot Circa 1790-1810 Nice antique French Old Paris / Vieux Paris porcelain teapot. Decorated on one side with a hand painted sepia landscape scene with a building, trees, body of water, and two figures fishing framed in gold gilding over a white background. Has a hand painted sepia landscape scene on the opposite side of the pot with trees, birds, and two figures walking. Gold laurel leaf band above the scenes, around the shoulder of the pot, and around the lid. Gold highlights to the handle, finial, and spout. Has a faint hand painted mark on the base. Circa 1790 to 1810. Has some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition. Measures approximately 8 inches wide from spout to handle x 5 1/2 inches tall to the top of the lid finial.
