The actual sticks might get replaced if they are too dirty or damaged. Most the time the stick is good so I just replace the worn out gears and bowls. Joysticks will come lubed so they last longer Most sellers just clean the outside and leave the joystick how it is I replace every joystick on every controller, you will not find better controllers that's for sure.
