Description: This sale is for the original style knurled nuts that are used in the assembly of vintage Delta cast iron equipment bases. Original nuts are often found to be damaged or missing when restoring one of these highly sought after Art-deco cast iron equipment stands. We have recreated the original style knurled nut. Our replacement nuts are knurled, profiled, counter bored, and then threaded 5/16"-18. We use high quality Engraver's brass rod, and then nickel plate the nuts for appearance and long term corrosion protection. The price shown is for one knurled nut. A typical Delta cast iron base unit uses a minimum of four knurled nuts, and in many cases five of these knurled nuts to hold the back panel plus the belt guard in place. If you buy four or more knurled nuts, we would like you to not checkout, but request an invoice from us before payment. If you do so, we will discount the purchase based on the quantity of items bought. If you pay without us invoicing, the new eBay system does not allow us to refund part of the purchase price. A black nylon flat washer is included with each nut. The washer should be placed between the painted cast iron surface and the knurled nut to protect the appearance of the restoration effort. Shipping to anywhere in the lower 48 states is $5.50 for the first nut purchased and $0.50 for each additional nut. Other locations may have to pay an additional fee. Payment by PayPal is preferred.
