It is "New...Old Stock" with the original tag still attached with the size marked, the original price, an identifying number and says Made in USA. I bought a lot of about 50 of these rings (about 30 years ago) with information saying that they were recovered from a warehouse building in Providence, RI that was being demolished. The ring is marked 18Kt GE...which means the ring has an electroplated covering of 18KT Gold. The ring is hallmarked with an "A" in a circle which I matched up to the old American Ring Co., of Providence, RI which became a company formed by an Italian immigrant jeweler father and son in 1973. I contacted the company with a photo of a ring and a tag and they verified that it was indeed their vintage ring & tag. This ring features a tiered styling of clear faux-diamond, sparkly Clear Crystals (designated with the CY in the item number) with a Cocktail Ring flair. The photo makes them look yellow...but in person they are clear! The lovely setting and stones of this 'precious pretender' make it look like a $$$ alternative!!
