NEW UNSMOKED Castleford Lumberman Sandblast Briar Pipe in Leather Pipe Sock. This Castleford UNSMOKED LONG Lunbernan (Saddle Bit Canadian) with Ring Grain in a Leather Sleeve was Handmade in England. Castleford is a higher grade of Invicta Briars, which was headed by Colin Leeson and located on King Street, in Chatham, England They developed a tradition of making fine English Briar pipes and retained this reputation over the decades a premier briar pipe maker. UNSMOKED From England, here’s a 7 inch long, un-smoked big Canadian shaped pipe housing a very generous tobacco chamber. With a good amount of ring grain, and birds-eye end grain in the heel and shank it should provide a sweet dry smoking experience. Draft hole is center and above the bottom of the chamber. There is an effortless draw. Tenon to mortise union is sound, snug and flush. Pipe does not accept a filter. Pipe weighs only 2.09 ounces. No fills. No handling marks. Pipe passes a cleaner with ease. Comes with a Suede Leather sleeve, as shown.
