After more than 65 years, these feet will have flattened down and no longer grip the work surface. Many times the screw that mounts them to the typewriter protrudes from the flattened rubber and will damage (scratch) the desk it's sitting on. When we recondition a Royal Quiet Deluxe portable typewriter in our shop, we always replace these feet. And they make your typewriter look good too! IMPORTANT These are exact replacement feet and guaranteed to fit on Royal Quiet Deluxe and other Royal portable typewriter models that use slightly rectangular feet and are screwed into the frame with a split screw. The screw hole is centered, please check this detail before ordering. There are other models that use similar feet with an offset hole (similar but different). We have both styles.
