They were bold in both their designs and colors . . . perhaps a little too bold for their time. In 1944 the company was purchased and renamed Viking Glass Company. New Martinsville Glass Mfg Co. / Viking Glass – Moondrops (Line #37) A line of dinnerware, tableware and specialty items introduced in December 1932. Items were produced in crystal and a variety of colors, including Ritz Blue and Ruby. Some items were fitted with metal holders. Despite its popularity, the line was discontinued in the latter half of 1936.
