It is perfect for beginners and advanced players alike, and features a lightweight design with a shoulder rest, chinrest, and built-in fine tuner. Crafted from high-quality basswood, this violin has a length of 23.2 inches and a width of 8.3 inches, weighing 3.3 lbs. It is designed for right-handed players and has a natural finish. *Please note these violins are not recommended for beginning orchestra students. The electronics can be confusing and most directors will not allow them to be used. Additionally the violin and strings are brand new. It will need tuned multiple times over a few days before it begins holding tuning correctly. The bow and rosin are also new and the rosin will need to be scraped before it applies correctly. The bow will require quite a bit of rosin. Keep applying until the bow grips the strings properly. ***The violin comes with bridge shipped under the tailpiece. It will need set on the pickup on the violin. Please make sure it is positioned correctly according to the instructions in the box and the strings should be tightened slowly to make sure the bridge does not tip while tuning.
