Description: In 1916 Ward LaFrance began building fire apparatus. The founder had worked for relatives at American LaFrance before starting out on his own. The P80 Ambassador is arguably one of the most recognizable fire trucks ever having served as Engine 51 in the TV show Emergency. This was from the second season until the end of the series. This model was designed from pictures of the real Engine 51 . It even has air packs for Chet and Marco riding the jump seats. Ward LaFrance used this cab for several other types like tiller tractors, ladders, snorkels and an occasional rescue. It will look great at a fire scene, firehouse, flat car load, or in a parade. I'll be adding more as time permits. Some flash removal is required, Some models will require basic assembly. Each listing is for one item unless otherwise specified. Pictures with painted trucks are N scale. Since most modelers like to buy more than one item, I'm glad to combine shipping. You should never pay more than $5.99 in total. With that said, you can request an invoice or contact me to make arrangements to adjust shipping.
