These screws are 3/16ths of an inch long and are intended for center-flow hoppers where the car ends are open. These are machine screws and the holes need to be threaded #4-40. A “bottoming tap” is recommended; a spiral flute tap is preferable as opposed to a spiral point tap. I attempt to provide the most accurate description possible.
