Simple no tools installation, the adapter slips in the hub just like the 15mm thru axle would. The wheel is then mounted and secured with your 9mm shaft quick release. I have included photos of common 5mm and 9mm quick releases, this adapter is for use with a 9mm item like the one shown. The quick releases are shown for clarity and are not included in this listing.
